Owners Tom & Jan Pinckney have diversified from the traditional grazing operation to follow their passions for wine, food and hospitality. Jan, having owned a restaurant before raising a family, has an extensive history in food preparation. You can follow Tom and goings on at Northburn Station on Twitter. A 23 hectare vineyard, established in 1999, currently produces around 2000 cases of wine a year under the Northburn Station label – primarily richly flavoured Pinot Noirs – but also Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Rosé.
