2009 Riesling "Jeweller's Shop"
This, Jeweller’s Shop Riesling is made in a medium-sweet style for special occasions. The “Jeweller’s Shop” refers to the immediately adjacent gold mining area so named for its exceptionally rich yields in the 1860s. This wine should provide similarly rich rewards.

Tasting Notes
The wine is straw coloured with a rich, full structure and a long lemony finish.
Winemaker's notes: “Grapes with about 10% botrytis were hand harvested on 29th April 2009. The juice was fermented slowly at low temperatures to ensure good mouth feel as well as clean, fresh flavours. The well balanced acid gives the wine good structure and the more honeyed character from the botrytis plus the extra residual sugar makes for an “auslese” style wine.”
Wine Analysis:
- Residual Sugar 52 g/L
- pH 2.97
- TA 8.7 g/L
- Alcohol 10.5%
